Terms of Use
Licence
Steer is licensed for personal use on your own Mac computers. A one-time purchase unlocks the app; your licence covers the Macs you personally use.
Purchases
Steer is sold through Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy processes the payment, issues the licence key, and is the name on your card statement.
Trial
Steer includes a 14-day free trial with full functionality. After the trial period, a purchase is required to continue using the app.
No warranty
Steer is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. I keep it working across macOS releases on a best-effort basis, but I can't promise it will suit your setup or never misbehave; that's what the trial is for.
Limitation of liability
Steer's entire job is to synthesize input: clicks, keystrokes, scrolls, and scripted actions dispatched into whatever app is in front. A mis-bound button or a runaway macro acts on your Mac just as surely as a slipped hand on a real keyboard, so test new bindings and macros somewhere harmless before trusting them near important work.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, my total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to Steer is limited to the amount you paid for it, and I am not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost data or lost profits, resulting from input Steer dispatched on your behalf. Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; nothing here limits consumer rights you are entitled to under the law where you live.
Refunds
Email steer@seanfloyd.dev with your order details and I'll issue the refund through Lemon Squeezy, or contact Lemon Squeezy directly; see the refund page for how it works.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.
